About Us
About Us
After School Kindness, Inc. is committed to giving every child an opportunity to discover their passion for a specific activity. We bring in a variety of activities for the children to experience. We want families to have the same and equal opportunities for their children. In brief, each week we have a specialty day for the children that include a variety of activities from horse-back riding, to fire prevention seminars, to the Colorado Eagles’ players making special appearances, to professional golf instruction, and much, much more. The education the children attain through fun activities is immeasurable.
CREATE MORE FAMILY TIME
CREATE MORE FAMILY TIME
We make sure most if not all homework is completed and checked by the time you pick up your child. There are no glorified babysitters watching your children. All directors, team leaders, and aides are committed to making sure every minute counts in having fun yet educational opportunities for all.

About the Owner Mr. Black & After School Kindness
About the Owner Mr. Black & After School Kindness
Mr. Black's mission is to create more family time for parents and their children. After having two children of his own, he realized the importance of getting homework done so he could have more family time. His goal is to create a program designed to help children get tutoring help with their homework to improve their academic scores as well as have more family time when they get home.
He believes all children should be able to receive the same confidence-building extracurricular activities that others experience. He also hopes to encourage other after school programs throughout the United States to hire qualified tutors who can help the children complete most if not all, their homework by the time the parents pick them up = more family time and better grades.
Mr. Black was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina but considers Colorado his true home since graduating from Colorado State University. After college, he became involved in the ownership and management of several karate studios in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to earning a black belt himself, he grew the business to twelve (12) studios and was voted 5th Best Martial Arts School in the Nation out of 20,000 martial arts studios by “Professional Martial Arts” magazine in 1997. Yoga and Pilates were added to the program in 2001 and a dance studio in 2002. In 2003, he started his first After School program, adding this to the Atlanta Karate Centers.
After School Kindness, Inc. services Northern Colorado in Fort Collins, Loveland with Greeley and Longmont coming soon. His hobbies include golf, fishing, skiing, helping others, and with his A.S.K. Charitable, Inc. Non-Profit www.askforchildren.org finding new ways to actively give back to his community. After graduating college and working in the childcare industry, Mr.Black's daughter Samantha Black took over the family business in 2020 and is looking forward to continuing to meet the needs of families all throughout Northern Colorado.
